| With my guide Edmund
sitting under a sacred group of fig trees . These are
strangler figs. They start as a seed in the top of host tree
and send branches to the ground. As they mature they choke
the host tree and leave a tree that looks like it is empty
on the inside. This was an amazing sight |
Here I am at a local
healer's clinic. He had several botanical medicines around
his clinic used for immediate use. Here is the leaf of the
Teak tree, commonly used for boat building and furniture.
The leaf can be made into a tea for fever or the onset of
feeling colds and flu. |
